I have been testing for a couple of weeks and I must say that it feels like an excellent quality product, the print quality is very good and durable, the application is very intuitive, and the adhesive paper is water-resistant.

The niimbot b1 hardware works great. The software is less great.



New driver: windows 10+

By default, on windows 10, it installs to the appdata/local folder and doesn't create a start menu shortcut. Then, to save templates, you have to create an account. It doesn't allow you to save templates locally.

Old driver: windows 7+

It installs to the program files as it should and creates a start menu shortcut as expected.

It also allows you to save templates locally.



There's a paywall for some of the fonts and a lot of them are named in kanji or something.



There's an open source web app called niimblue, but it's a little clunky and for me it printed little black speckles on the label.



I recommend you download the general purpose printer driver to use with any software and/or stick to the windows 7 version.



You have to connect to the pc with a usb cable. Bluetooth only works for phones.
